Chai Latte Cupcakes
A fluffy, moist cake, spiced exactly as a Chai Tea would be. We start by steeping black tea and saffron, then add ginger, lemon, cinnamon, cardamom, and a hint of clove to the batter*. We sweeten the cake with a more complex, organic coconut sugar in addition to regular. The buttercream boasts fresh lemon zest and ginger. The result is a cupcake that tastes exactly like a piping hot Chai Tea. Absolutely divine!
We pride our cupcake operation on using local, organic, and fair trade ingredients whenever possible, and always of utmost quality. Our flour is from Migrash Farm, a local farm in the Chesapeake whose crops are organically grown.
